LILY AMIS / NASSIMA DESIGN ARTWORK
I found my passion for drawing and painting already at a young age, inspired by my talented grandfather and gifted mother. It was my way of escaping from reality, my worries, and my anxiety.
Using colours has always been therapeutic for my heart, mind, and soul. In my challenging teen years as an unwanted asylum seeker, later “temporarily accepted” refugee in Switzerland the only thing that kept me alive except the unconditional love and support of my lovely mother, was art. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without my passion for drawing and painting.
As an artist or writer we can find inspiration in everything around us. I have way too many ideas. Finding inspiration is the least of my problems. Time is what I need the most. I think this is one of the reasons, why I'm having so many migraine attacks. LOL!
Back in the late 90es, when I was drawing and painting in my room with a troubled mind and a heavy heart, I could only dream of the chance to sell my artwork worldwide. Today's opportunities with printing companies are amazing. In my little online shop, I'm now offering some of my work next to my book and music merch products.
You can order my artwork as postcards, greeting cards, posters, notebooks, and even Throw Pillows and Tote bags. My book and music merch are also available on Tshirt and Mug.
All profits go to my Lily4Humanity and Lily4Refugees charity projects.
